J&G's home county and where the company was founded in 2006. From the coastal fog belt of Eureka and Arcata to the warmer inland river valleys around Fortuna and Garberville, Humboldt's microclimates demand landscapes built for the conditions - and decades of local work to know the difference.

From the Mendocino coast to the inland heat of Ukiah and the Anderson Valley, Mendocino County spans some of the widest climate variation on the North Coast. This is design-build country for us: we take on full landscape design and construction projects here, drawn in-house and built to suit each microclimate.
