Our landscape technicians, designers, and staff are the reason J&G has grown by word of mouth since 2006. Most of them live right here in Humboldt County, and it shows in the work.

The part of my job I enjoy the most is the satisfaction of doing a good job. My hobbies include riding my Harley with my wife and fishing with the grandkids. I'm a family man. I've lived in Humboldt County since 2016 and I enjoy the woods here.

The part of my job I enjoy the most is being outside. When I'm not working, I enjoy hanging out with my two daughters, Peyton and Aura, going to the river, zoo, and playground. I've lived in Humboldt County for 15 years and I love everything about it.

The part of work I most enjoy is seeing my visions come to life, and creating a personal connection with customers. My interests outside of work are traveling and creating. I have a daughter, Amaya. I've lived in Humboldt County all my life and I love the beautiful landscape from the deep redwoods to the amazing coastline. We have a small community with a big heart.

What I enjoy about my job is seeing that the client is satisfied, and the progress of a project filling the home with joy, always keeping in mind that people take as much pride as I do in their work. Some of my hobbies when I'm not at work are skateboarding, fishing, hiking, backpacking, and seeing my family. I have a soon-to-be wife and six littles who I adore and love to learn from. I moved to Humboldt in March of 2023 and bought a home. Some of the things I love here are the beautiful trees and the kindness of the people I get to share my world with.

The part of my job I like the most is finishing a yard with straight lines mowed and nice clean edges. When I'm not at work I enjoy playing guitar and working on cars. I have two younger sisters, 14 and 5 years old. I was born and raised in Humboldt and I love the beautiful environment here.

The part of my work I enjoy most is playing in the dirt and working in the sun. When I'm not at work I enjoy cleaning up messes and fixing cars. I love my family and have lived in Humboldt County for about 13 years. I like the climate and the people here.

The thing I enjoy most about working is the opportunity to cultivate, develop, and maintain local environments for both residents and passersby, as well as the exercise and the chance to work outdoors. When I'm not working I enjoy playing basketball, cooking, camping, hiking, and backpacking. I've been in Humboldt since October of 2023 and I love the redwoods, the beaches, the sense of community, local arts and artists, and the overall warmth and friendliness of the people in the area.

The most enjoyable thing about working outside most of my day is the change of scenery. My hobbies are cutting firewood and swimming. I've lived in Humboldt County for 37 years. The thing I like most about living here is the redwoods that surround us.

What I enjoy most about my work is waking up to beautiful mornings to perform a unique service for good folks. It brings a sense of purpose to my life. My hobbies and interests include building and shooting antique firearms, and in my circle of friends I'm known as the gun guru. I love Legos, I've recently gotten back into woodworking, and I play video games. I've lived in Humboldt and love everything about it except the taxes and gas prices.

The part of my work I enjoy most is the planning and the finishing. When I'm not working I enjoy welding and crafts. I've lived in Humboldt for 34 years and I enjoy the nature and diversity of the area.

The things I love about my job are the physical labor and being nice and tired at the end of the day. I really love seeing progress and building, and I love gardening. When I'm not at work I create custom shirts, hats, decals, and stickers, and I like to garden and learn horticulture. I also like fishing, hiking, and exploring the backwoods. I have a large family and am one of 10 kids. I just celebrated 9 years with my wife in July. I'm from Lake Tahoe but have lived in Humboldt 8 years, and I really enjoy the outdoors here.

The parts of my job I like the most are being outside and being able to make a difference. When I'm not working I enjoy fishing, hiking, gardening, and wood carving. I've lived in Humboldt County 8 months and I like the unique climate and environments.

What I enjoy most about my job is combining art and plants to create an inviting environment. Being outside in the dirt is where I'm most happy. When I'm not working I enjoy gardening, art, hanging out with my family, and cooking. My husband James has taught me a lot over our 11 years of marriage, and my kids, Nora, Alana, and Seth, all bring the fun to our lives. I've lived in Humboldt for 8 years and I like the nature and smaller population.

What I enjoy most about my job is being outside all day, every day, and the gratification of the before and what it looks like when we leave. When I'm not working I like skateboarding, snowboarding, dirt bikes, hikes with the dogs, and just being outside with my girlfriend Heather. I've lived in Humboldt about 7 months. I'm from New York originally, and the landscape here reminds me a lot of home.

The one thing I like most about my job is helping make our clients happy with our work. When I'm not at work I enjoy walking or playing with my dogs. I've lived in Humboldt County for 28 years and the thing I like most about living here are the lovely views this place has to offer.

The part of my job I like the most is that you're always outside working with nature and a crew that has your back. I'd say mowing and weed eating are my favorite things to do. When I'm not working I like to go swimming, camping, and hiking, and I play video games at home. I've lived in Humboldt my whole life and I like that it's more independent than the big cities, plus the coastal weather, lush terrain, and wonderful people.

The part I really enjoy about my job is being able to work outside. When I'm not working I enjoy pickleball, golf, tractors, and taking care of our property. I have a wonderful wife, Erica, daughters Diana and Tracey, and grandchildren Niko, Isla, and Iris. I've lived in Humboldt for 3 years and I love being reunited with my wife, the redwoods, and the waterways.

What I most enjoy about my job is being able to build or put together something I'm proud of. My main interests are football and NASCAR. I've lived in Humboldt County for 52 years and I love the beauty here.

I enjoy the opportunity to interact with a variety of like-minded individuals and provide a greater quality of care to customers. When I'm not at work, I like to do carpentry and graphic design. I've lived in Humboldt for 6 years, traveling between Big Island Hawaii and Fortuna, and I love getting to live among some of the oldest-growth forests in North America.

I've lived in Humboldt County all 25 years of my life and love all the outdoor possibilities, from the redwoods to the ocean.

Since moving to Humboldt County a little over 2 years ago, I enjoy the redwoods, bike riding and kayaking. My current hobby is taking violin lessons. I also enjoy spending time with my daughter and her horse and mule.

There's something unique about working for a small mom-and-pop business like J&G Lawn & Garden. It's much more rewarding than being a small cog in a huge wheel, and each member of this organization is valued. I've been married almost 52 years to my wife, Lael, and have two children, Jake and Katri, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. They are truly our greatest treasures. I've lived and worked in Humboldt County for 56 years. I graduated from HSU and am a military veteran. I was a grocer for 45 years and a bookkeeper for the past ten, and volunteered as a firefighter for 25 years. The ease of reaching the redwoods, rivers, and ocean makes living here very rewarding.
